My reviews are based on a (1-12) score out of 12 DARK MOONS.
8/12 = A solid rental Horror movie, or if you wait until it is streaming, it will be a great one to watch then.
7/12 = An OK Horror movie, but wait until it is streaming or on TV to watch.
6/12 = A So-So Horror movie that should only be watched if on a free platform and there is nothing but a Romance movie out there to watch!
5-1/12 = Don't waste your time watching these Horror Movies, unless the only other option available to watch on the secluded island you live on is "Twilight," In which case, carry on and watch these first!

The Invisible Man - Horror Thriller Movie Review by, Donster The Monster

11/12 Dark Moons - A very worthy 21st Century adaptation of the novel of the same name by H. G. Wells! With an amazing use of sound and story this film was thrilling from start to finish! I wasn't sure about another remake, but my concerns vanished immediately! Director (Leigh Whannell- Saw, Insidious, Upgrade) Is one of the master thriller filmmakers of the new century! Be sure to go see this one in a theater with a great sound system, before it vanishes away! P.S. watch for an Easter egg tip t

Brahms: The Boy II - Horror Movie Review by, Donster The Monster

9/12 Dark Moons Solid acting, a creepy doll and eerie setting make for all the good horror film elements, but most of the good scares are in the previews. This little doll of a movie would make a good rental once it comes out.

Fantasy Island - Adventure-Thriller Movie Review by, Donster The Monster

10/12 Dark Moons - "Boss, De victims... De victims!" It's not really a horror movie, but if you're a fan of the original TV series (like I am), you should really enjoy this adaptation. A fun adventure thriller that weaves three fantasies into one mysterious thrill ride. Unfortunately, it misses the powerful presence and chemistry from the TV show's two original stars, but it would take a fantasy to bring them back! But go ahead and see it in a theater near you, just don't exp

Gretel & Hansel - Dark Fantasy Review by, Donster The Monster

9/12 Dark Moons - Okay, so this re-imagining of the classic dark-fantasy Grimm fairy-tale did not really have bread crumbs or a house made of ginger bread, but it did have one of my all time favorite actresses, Alice Krige (Ghost Story & Silent Hill), who gave a pitch-perfect creepy performance as the witch who craves children's flesh. The settings and the cinematography was spellbinding, but I just wanted more horror and scares from it and a bigger, more terrorizing ending.

The Turning - Horror film Review By, Donster The Monster

9/12 Dark Moons - This film adaptation shows nail-biting promise throughout the first creepy two-thirds. The first two acts develop the story's twists and turns very well, with flashes of scares and a heavy ghostly doses of mystery and thrill. But the final act leaves us wanting to know more, like what happened to all the scares and why? However, strong acting performances by the entire cast and stylish, haunting cinematography help make it a good one to add to your fa

The Grudge 2020 - Horror film Review By, Donster The Monster

9/12 DARK MOONS A hair raising new tale... Although this film has the same name as the original 2oo4 Americanized version by writer/director Takashi Shimizu, it's actually a completely new story written by Shimuzu about a woman who unwittingly brings the curse back with her from Japan to her home in the US, thus cursing multiple residents over time, as well as anyone else who enters the newly haunted house. The 2020 film is well written, acted and capably directed by Nicola

Underwater- Horror film Review By, Donster The Monster

10/12 DARK MOONS TAKE A DEEP DIVE INTO TERROR... Mysterious creatures terrorize crew members aboard a research station located seven miles below the surface of the ocean. I WAS FRANKLY SURPRISED BY HOW WELL MADE AND FRIGHTENING THIS MOVIE WAS. It 's Alien meets Leviathan. The action gets started right away when there is a disaster in a deep sea drilling station on the surface of the ocean. As survivors gather together, they soon discover that they are not alone... They have disturbed somethi
