A family of four heads to an isolated Danish island to spend their Christmas holiday together. But while on their way to their rented bungalow, they hit something slimy and gooey with their car. Something that may come back to bite them! They soon discover the people of the island are protecting a very menacing secret, hidden behind a giant wall. A secret that their teenaged daughter will soon uncover and then the real danger begins.
I really enjoyed this first season of Elves. It's a simple, dark fantasy with some evil elf creatures, a little like a Danish gremlins. Although, this Netflix english-language version is dubbed, at least somewhat reasonably, it's still an enjoyable watch for fans of grim fantasy. Be sure to watch it sometime this holiday season.
